The most recent Evolving the Links conference held on
September 24-26, 2003 in Madison, Wisconsin, gathered over one hundred representatives
from universities and public television stations from across the country. The
conference focused on current developments in digital repositories, connectivitiy,
and distribution, and how changes in information technology affect the evolution
of public service media. In addition, reports from CPB, APTS, and NASULGC examined
possibilities for collaboration and funding sources to help us research the
